Medior Python Developer

The Role

Flexibility like a startup but with the stability of a scale-up? XS2Event might be the perfect fit for you. We are expanding our team with an experienced Python Developer focused on API/backend work. While there’s some front-end work involved, your primary focus will be on the backend.

Your daily tasks include brainstorming and developing new features, exploring cool new tech, and deploying software—which is technically just the press of a button, but someone has to do it!

Responsibilities:

• Writing, testing, and implementing code, ensuring it goes live.
• Reviewing colleagues’ code and providing feedback for improvements.
• Actively contributing to technical discussions and new functionality reviews.
• Assisting with technical questions across teams.
• Collaborating with other departments on functionality-related queries.
• Continuing to develop skills in Python and JavaScript while mentoring junior developers.

Your Profile

• Experienced application developer with a focus on API/backend work and several years of Python experience.
• Open-source-minded with basic Linux knowledge.
• Experience with Vue.js and SQLAlchemy/Flask is a plus. Bonus points for experience in the travel/airline industry and/or event-driven architecture.
• Works well independently and in a team.
