Category Manager Sports Events

The Role

Your daily tasks primarily involve maintaining relationships with suppliers such as FC Barcelona, Manchester United, and events like the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Additionally, you will communicate with customers, mainly travel agencies from across Europe.

You will also contribute to the further development of our platform and its product information to ensure XS2Event improves daily. This includes expanding our product offerings and developing new features to make it easier for our clients to offer sports events.

You’ll have the opportunity to proactively propose ideas based on customer needs, market insights, and discussions with internal stakeholders. You’ll coordinate with colleagues like the IT team, sales, and sports event experts to align on content and strategy.

Your Profile

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role and a minimum of higher professional education (HBO) level.
• Proactive, communicative, and affinity with IT.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Available for at least 32 hours per week and willing to work most of the time in our new office in Groningen.
