Drilling Supervisor
Roles and responsibilities
- Responsible for the execution of the drilling program maintaining maximum HSE and operational efficiency;
- Supervise the drilling operation in the most effective and efficient way;
- Manage onsite operations safely and efficiently, and lead field personnel to deliver the business objectives, in full compliance with relevant standards, policies and legislation;
- Ensure that the required materials and equipment is available on time;
- Ensure that all reports are swiftly established and are communicated to the people concerned;
- Ensure realisation of all activities according to specifications as defined in the work plan;
- Observe all company Health, Safety, Security and Environmental instructions, act in safe manner and avoid unnecessary risks to personnel;
- Provide leadership, direction and coaching to the staff;
- Demonstrate HSE leadership and commitment by actively participating in the onsite HSE programs.
Profile:
- BSc Petroleum Engineering/Mechanical Engineering or similar or attained this level by proven experience;
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role;
- Excellent leadership and organisational skills;
- Excellent communicational skills;
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills;
- Excellent Dutch and German oral and written communication skills is a plus;
- Skilled in law and regulations regarding the drilling, work over (interventions), QHSE and abandonment operations;
- Extensive knowledge of Well control processes and in the possession of Ā a valid IWCF Rotary Drilling Well control, Supervisory level;
- Skilled in drilling, production technology, completions, well testing and drilling equipment;
- Skilled in logistical processes.
