We are looking for a Sales Manager in the Netherlands. As a Sales Manager, you are responsible for the sales of advanced "fit-to-size" packaging machines. Your working area is the Benelux. You are able to identify prospects and know how to make them enthusiastic about this product in a convincing way. In addition to CEO/CFOs, your discussion partners include warehouse, logistics or supply chain managers of large retailers, online shops and fulfillment specialists. System integrators also belong to your target group. With your feeling for commerce, technology and your drive for new business, you are able to achieve the objectives. You know how to find the right balance between drive and patience. To facilitate your sales, Sparck has an excellent service and after sales department. You will work from home or be in Drachten for consultation and coordination. You will report to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).

What we ask

With your commercial skills you know how to convince customers and realize deals. You have an entrepreneurial attitude, you show initiative, you are flexible and you easily switch between different hierarchical levels. Furthermore, you possess:

  • Bachelor or Master's level, preferably engineering, technical business administration, Commercial Economics or Supply Chain Management;
  • Extensive commercial experience preferably with capital equipment;
  • Network in world of e-commerce, supply chain and logistics sector is a plus;
  • Analytical, driven, technical affinity, hunter mentality;
  • Clear and powerful communication, you are someone who knows how to make connections easily;
  • Willingness to travel frequently in the work are
  • Good command of the English language in word and writing, French is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue opportunities based on providing customers with an integrated solution with our product portfolio and supported by the Global Sales team
  • Establish contact with new customers to identify business opportunities
  • Develop relationships with key company personnel to include Supply Chain, Trade Relations/Trade Markets and leadership personnel at C-level
  • Present business agreements to key decision makers to review business terms and conditions, verify customer understanding, and confirm customer expectations
  • Negotiate customer contracts, issues and gaps, and sign new contracts
  • Proactively engage with new prospects to drive revenue growth and product strategies
  • Act on referrals and leads from existing accounts to determine viability of potential accounts
