Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE) is the world market leader in offshore wind energy and wants to make a difference for wind energy projects around the world. Well-known projects in the Netherlands are Gemini, Westermeerwind, Borssele 1-2 and Fryslân. For our new wind farm Fryslân SGRE is looking for Service Technicians for the maintenance of our wind turbines. In this position you will be working in a rotating schedule, four days on, four days off.

What are the key responsibilities associated with the job?

• You are responsible for nearshore service, maintenance and repair work;
• You will be writing technical reports on service, research and safety;
• The ratio of the work is 70% electrical and 30% mechanical;

You will work in a team of at least 2 people
What do I need to qualify for this job?

• You have at least MBO-4 in Electrical, AOT or Mechatronics (or similar);
• Experience in hydraulics and control systems;
• Demonstrable affinity with electro;
• You are flexible, analytical, a team player and quality-oriented;
• Good knowledge of spoken and written English, especially technical English;
• Maximum travel time to Breezanddijk 45 minutes one way.
