Logistics Engineer

PolyVation is looking for a Logistics Engineer to strengthen our logistics team. You will be responsible for the ordering and receiving of chemicals and other goods, waste disposal as well as shipment of final goods to our (inter)national customers. In addition, you will manage our external storage supplier.
PolyVation is a manufacturer of polymers for use in medical devices and pharmaceutical products. Therefore, working according to our internal procedures that comply with international standards is important. This includes adequate, complete and thorough verification and documentation of all activities. Part of the job is writing and following up on of deviations, non-conformities and complaints. The job opening offers possibilities for (contributing to) improving our work flow and documentation.
Our customer base and employees are Dutch as well as international. Therefore, communication and documentation skills in English are important. On the work floor Dutch is the leading language.
You will work closely together with the Quality Control, Manufacturing, Research and Development and Quality Assurance teams.

Requirements
- Citizen of EU/EER/Zwitserland or holder of a (permanent) residence visa valid in the Netherlands (mandatory requirement);
- Vocational degree in logistics or comparable education. Education by experience in the industry also suffices;
- Affinity with GMP practices and related documentation requirements;
- Good documentation skills and fluent in English;
- Keen on working in an interdisciplinary and international team;
- Knowledge and experience with GMP practices are nice-to-have.
