Warehouse help for Saturdays
Are you looking for a meaningful way to spend your weekend? We could use some help!
And who knows, you might come across that beautiful thrift treasure! On Saturdays, we are currently so busy with incoming goods that we can't get it done internally logistically.
Your job here is to place the goods that come in per product group. Here it is important that you recognise which product group it belongs to, but also whether it is saleable. You will work together in a small team. To perform the work well, it is important that you are "normally" physically fit and therefore able to lift goods. (We can also offer you hours during the week if you want to make it a participation job)
- Taking delivery of goods.
- Receiving goods in matching places in the shop.
- If you wish, you may also join the checkout team so that you get even more variety on your meaningful Saturday!
- You must be physically able to lift goods up to 25kg. (We do not want you to lift washing machines and refrigerators; you should not lift heavier than 25kg; we would like you to use the available lifting aids so you will not develop complaints either).
- Customer-friendly behaviour; you must be able to explain to customers that some input is not wanted because it is dirty, broken, or unsellable.
- You will work with our other (volunteers and) staff; it is nice if you like it!
- Every working day is a surprise, you never know what will come in.
- You work together in a team where your efforts are appreciated.
- You can indicate what you want; we are happy to discuss the possibilities.
- You get an hourly allowance as a volunteer if you can work independently.
- As a participation volunteer, you must meet the conditions set by the municipality.
