Power women for the board

• The board meets six to eight times a year and also participates in activities organised by Jasmine.
• Depending on your role and expertise, additional time investment may be required. For the chairman, this is on average 2 hours extra per month.
• This is an unpaid position, but you get a lot of satisfaction, valuable experience and an inspiring network in return.

• Familiarity with activation and participation of women.
• Affinity with the diverse target group of Jasmijn.
• A clear vision of inclusiveness and empowerment.
• A critical, inquisitive and entrepreneurial attitude.
• Have knowledge of the social domain in the municipality of Groningen.
• A strategic attitude and a results-oriented approach.

For the chairman, we also require experience in coordinating and managing processes, tasks and agreements within a board or organization.

Stichting Multicultural Vrouwencentrum Jasmijn is looking for new (female) board members.

Due to the expiration of the board terms, we are looking for two general board members and a chair.

We strive for a board that reflects the diverse backgrounds of our target group and in which expertise in the field of personnel, organization, finance and legal affairs is available. We encourage women of all backgrounds and ages to apply.

Multicultural Women's Center Jasmijn offers a place in Groningen where women feel welcome and are accepted for who they are. In a safe, respectful environment, women are encouraged to use their talents and grow. By stimulating participation, learning and self-development, Jasmijn supports women to find their own way and make self-conscious choices that contribute to their independence and personal development.

Jasmijn employs 9 paid staff and a total of approximately 85 volunteers. We reach an average of 400 women per week. In addition to an annual offer of 50 courses and workshops, we have many projects and activities in the chain 'language - participation - work'. We also offer activities and information in the field of a healthy lifestyle. Jasmijn has a branch on Floresstraat and works in the neighborhoods at various neighborhood locations.
