Employee support living room Kornoeljehof
We are looking for a staff member to provide support in the Living Room Kornoeljehof , Vries and the Hullen in Roden.
The elderly with dementia ward consists of four living rooms. Each living room has a small team of carers and nurses with whom you can work as a volunteer and ask for advice.
You do not need to have any experience. However, it is nice if you can bring peace and atmosphere to a living room. You will be trained by a staff member or experienced volunteer and you will start working independently when you are ready.
You work in a small team where the staff member is easy to reach.
Are you nervous about working with elderly people with dementia? We understand that and it often has to do with the fact that you are unfamiliar with it. That is why we invite you to just try out some activities, without any obligation. Just by doing it you will experience how fun and valuable it can be to work with these elderly people. You are more than welcome.
There are no fixed times, but each living room is examined to see what the clients needs are and the volunteers activities are tailored to that.

Saturday and/or Sunday once every 14 days.
- Breakfast and coffee time 8.30-11.00 am.
- Lunch or hot meal 11.30-13.30.

- Coffee time in the evening hours 18.30-20.00.

As a volunteer, you can count on a good introduction, guidance and careful arrangements. And above all: on a lot of gratitude.

- Support at the workplace in a nice working atmosphere and appreciation for your work.
