Buddy for young refugees

• You will introduce a young status holder (18 - 25 years old) to Groningen by going out together and having fun.
• You speak to each other every week.
• You look for sports or cultural activities and go out together.
• You talk about Dutch society and culture.
• You are a reference point and sparring partner for the status holder.
• And someone to laugh with!

We are looking for young people (18 - 25 years old) who are social and socially engaged. You enjoy showing a newcomer around and experiencing Groningen. You can give information about Dutch society and culture and you are interested in the other person's background. You enjoy going along to a club or association for the first time and introducing someone there.
You know Groningen and Dutch culture well and are fluent in Dutch, English or Arabic.

Thanks to you, a young refugee (18 - 25 years old) quickly feels at home in Groningen.

With your support and tips, the status holder builds a new social network and a new life in Groningen.
We help you to make the first appointments, so you can get started smoothly.

You can also team up with one or more friends to show a younger status holder the way. Preferably even!
