Bicycle mechanic

Supporting residents of an asylum seekers' centre in repairing their bikes: fixing tyres, greasing chains, giving advice in what parts to buy etc.

• To be able to repair minor issues on a bicycle.
• Liking interacting with people from other cultures.
• Able to work independently.

You will be in contact with people who have come to the Netherlands from different parts of the world to seek protection/safety from our government. These are people who are waiting for the decision of the IND and permit holders, people who have received a 5-year residence permit. Also staying at this location are 40 boys who need a bicycle to go to school.
