Assistant chef restaurant Bernlef
Under the name Neighbourhoods at Bernlef, various works are being carried out in and around the Bernlef residential care centre. TheĀ hundredĀ flats mainly house elderly people, who are supported in certain areas. The neighbourhood restaurant is located on the ground floor. Neighbourhood residents who want to contribute to the neighbourhood can gain work experience in the restaurant through Buurten bij Bernlef. Wijkwerken is part of the WerkPro foundation.
- Assisting the cook in preparing the daily meals.
- Cooking, portioning and preparing the plates.
- Cleaning the kitchen.
- Doing dishes if necessary.
- In a participation job, you are available at least 16 hours a week.
- You have good social skills and have a service attitude.
- You can deal with elderly people and aware of their vulnerability.
- You are stress-resistant and can work carefully.
- You have experience working in the kitchen.
The vacancy can be combined with one of our other vacancies we offer within Bernlef such as dishwasher, guest lady/host etc.
The position can in principle also be filled through a participation job pathway,Ā another pathway through the Social Service of the Municipality of Groningen or through a pathway of the UWV. A combination of working and learning or voluntary work is also possible.
