UX/UI Designer CIC
In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers, where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
Your role and responsibilities
We are seeking a talented and innovative UX/UI Designer to join our team. This role focuses on designing user experiences and interfaces that are not only visually compelling but also accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to create intuitive designs that meet the needs of diverse audiences.
- Facilitate accessibility programs (optional)
- Design and optimize user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to understand user behavior and needs.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using industry-standard tools.
- Ensure designs adhere to accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1).
- Collaborate with developers to implement designs seamlessly.

- Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines (e.g., WCAG).
- Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer or similar role.
- Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Strong portfolio showcasing UX and UI design projects with a focus on accessibility.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
