We are looking for a Shift Supervisor who not only takes our production process to a higher level, but also our people. A Supervisor who pays attention to his people and knows what's going on in the workplace. In this position, you are fully responsible for the production process and for your team, which consists of 14 people. Together, you work every day for a sustainable future.

About the position

Working with people gives you energy and strives to get the best out of everyone every day. The development of your people is high on your list.
As a Shift Supervisor, you take a critical look at the current production process and regularly ask yourself: Are we doing the right thing in the smartest way? What is going well and what could be better?
You stand for long-term solutions and are constantly looking for improvements.
You are responsible for planning the production and ensure the correct occupancy during holidays and/or illness.
You conduct appraisal interviews with employees and make reports.
You ensure that the products meet quality and safety standards.
You keep an optimal overview of production, know how to set the right priorities and act decisively; you take responsibility.

Where will you work?

We are Huhtamaki Fiber Technology, the international R&D and product development center and the machine line developer of the major packaging company Huhtamaki. We passionately develop products, processes and machine lines that make it possible to produce sustainable packaging for, among others, the food industry. We have a modern test center, a pilot plant and various other departments under one roof. And it's all about innovation, sustainable innovation! Not only because our customers and end users from the global retail market ask for it every day, but also because we ourselves strive for a world with sustainable packaging materials.

What do we ask of you?

You have an HBO level of work and thinking.
You have several years of experience as a Supervisor within a production environment.
You love coming up with new ideas and you always see room for improvement.
You have knowledge and experience with BRC certification and guarantee it within the company.
You are entrepreneurial, a team player and have strong analytical skills.
You have an emergency response and VCA certificate or are willing to obtain one.
You are available for a 5-shift and, if necessary, flexible to temporarily switch to another shift.

What do you get from us?

As a Shift Supervisor, you will be employed directly by us, we like to retain good people;
Your salary — based on the weight of the job and your experience — is between €46,000 and €61,000 per year based on 40 hours per week, including 8% vacation pay and a 13th month. In addition, you will receive a shift allowance of 26.9%, travel allowance of 19 cents per kilometer and 27 vacation days + 4 ADV.
Bonus scheme: maximum 3.75% of your annual salary (depending on individual and business performance);
