Job Overview

As an IT Support employee, you are responsible for providing (technical) support and solutions for the ICT environment. You act as the point of contact for users with ICT and/or workplace-related questions and issues. You handle incidents, analyze problems, and provide a quick solution where possible. You ensure that end users are well-supported.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • First-line support: You answer questions and resolve incidents related to standard office applications and workplace automation. This includes laptops, printers, email (Office 365), internet, and the office network.
  • Management of ICT resources: You ensure that ICT facilities and resources are in order, including security, updates, and user management. You provide ICT facilities and resources for new employees.
  • Incident management: You manage and monitor tickets in the helpdesk system, ensure communication with the involved parties, and follow up on tickets until they are fully resolved.
  • User training: You provide training and support to end users to help them make optimal use of ICT facilities and resources.
  • Collaboration: You collaborate with other IT teams to perform system upgrades and maintenance.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of an MBO or HBO degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge and experience with the Office 365 platform.
  • Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of office automation systems, Windows and MacOS environments, and (office) network management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of Information Security processes and procedures (ISO 27001) is a plus.
