A part-time job can be a great way to gain work experience and meet new people (and of course, the extra bucks don’t hurt!). However, finding a part-time job can be quite challenging for international students, especially if you are a non-EU student who might be bound by some restrictions due to your student residence permit.
You might wonder: Am I even allowed to work? Where do I start?
That’s why the International Welcome Center North, together with our team at Make it in the North, is hosting the “How to Find a Student Job?” event. This event aims to help students discover part-time job opportunities in the North, such as working at cafés, supermarkets, or retail stores. It also aims to help non-EU students understand the rules and regulations regarding having a part-time job based on their residence permit.
