On March 12th and 13th, this two-day event at MartiniPlaza in Groningen is your chance to connect with companies, discover internships, find thesis projects, and maybe even land your next job.

Organized by the University of Groningen, the Beta Business Days brings together over 7,000 students from the Faculty of Science & Engineering and countless businesses eager to meet fresh talent. The event is completely free for students and designed to give you a head start on your professional journey. If you are not in the final years of your study, this is still a great event to orientate yourself on your future career!

Expect a variety of activities, from company presentations, hands-on case studies, and speed dates, to casual Sip & Connect sessions and one-on-one interviews. Plus, a buzzing business expo where you can chat directly with employers and see what they’re all about.

And here’s the best part: Make it in the North will be there! You’ll find us at our stand, where we’ll be ready to chat with you, answer your questions, and help you navigate opportunities for internationals. We’ll also be giving a presentation—stay tuned for specific times and details. As always, we’ll highlight which companies are open to hiring English-speaking internationals, so you can focus your efforts where they matter most.
